As of today, and after almost six years of an incredible journey, Tacter is shutting down. The app and this website are no longer available.
The first Tacter app was released at the end of 2020, and later became the company we co-founded in 2022 with a simple belief: gamers deserve better tools to learn, improve, and connect around the games they love. At its peak, almost one million players used Tacter every month. We built things we’re genuinely proud of, alongside a community that showed up for it every day.
But building a company also means being honest when something isn’t living up to the expectations we had for it, and that’s why it’s time for us to close this chapter.
Over the past three months, every user had the chance to download their data and withdraw any funds or accounts from the platform. That window is now closed, and with it, so is Tacter.
